How to Install a Husqvarna Deck for the R220T and R322T


  1. Use packaging or other materials to elevate the front half of the deck, making sure the spindle on the deck is at the edge of the elevation pallet.

  2. Make sure the levers on the mower are completely down in their lowest nodules.

  3. Find the silver bracket holding the front up, or lift it up manually should the bracket be missing.

  4. Release the parking break by pressing down on it.

  5. Slide unit forward until the fork on the front of the mower touches the pegs on the deck.

  6. Lift back of frame until pegs sit in the slots of the fork.

  7. Slide them together while lifting the back of the deck to lock them into position.

  8. Remove elevation pallet and ensure that the pegs are still in the slots.

  9. Pull the mower and deck together.

  10. Put the mower back in park.

  11. Remove the belt from its holder and make sure it rests against the inner pulley.

  12. Wrap it around the side of the spindle opposite the pulley.

  13. Pull belt while turning pulley to get the belt into place.

  14. Move the silver rod into position by lifting up on the deck and moving it manually.

  15. Release the pull cord from where it rested on the silver bar and move it down to rest its cord in the slot below.

Now your deck should be properly attached and ready to go!
