Ferris IS700Z 52" & 61" Zero Turn Mower Review


This zero turn mower comes in 52″ and 61″ 10 gauge fabricated/reinforced steel deck sizes including greasable aluminum spindles. Suspensions are located on the front and back of the mower for a smoother ride. This also includes an upgraded seat with armrests which is a step above the 600 series mowers.


The discharge chute is made out of heavy-duty rubber. The deck height is adjusted by a pin, a control lever, and a foot assist pedal. The brake lever is located to the right of the seat, and the control panel is located to the driver’s right hand side as well which includes a choke, PTO, key switch, throttle, and an hour meter. The rear tires are 22×11-10 and this model does include a roll bar for extra protection.


The engine options for this model are Briggs & Stratton, Vanguard, or Kawasaki and these are protected by a heavy duty engine guard. This comes with the ZT3400 hydraulic drive system which is servicable. The maximum speed is 10 mph forward and 5 mph in reverse and it comes with a 4 year limited or 500 hour warranty.

Husqvarna MZ52 Zero Turn Mower 25 HP Kohler Engine Review


This model is a step up from the standard residential models including features such as a commercial drive system, a seat with arm rests, 11 gauge steel fabricated deck, and 3 greasable aluminum spindles.


The deck includes a spring-loaded plastic discharge chute. The controls on the driver’s right hand side include a digital hour meter.


This model features a 25 HP 7000 Series Kohler engine or a 24 HP Kawasaki FR Engine. Hitch kits are available for MZ52s for any pull-behind attachments. The drive system is a Commercial Hydro-Gear ZT 3100 system with 2 filters located under the seat.


The deck is fully welded and reinforced for extra support. The top forward speed is 8.5 mph. This mower is great for large residential or small commercial jobs and comes with a 3 year consumer warranty or 1 year commercial warranty.
